I just received my new Road ID in the mail. What do I need to do next?

If you purchased your own Road ID, or have been to MyRoadID.com before, chances are you have already completed Steps One and Two shown below. If so, simply log in using your email address and password and skip on down to Step Three. If you just received your Road ID as a gift, lucky you! You should proceed beginning with Step One.

Step One: Go to www.MyRoadID.com to create a MyRoadID.com account. To do this, simply click the "Create Account" button on the MyRoadID.com homepage.

Step Two: After creating your new MyRoadID.com account, you will be able to create your Emergency Response Profile (ERP). If needed, you can add multiple ERPs to one account.

Step Three (Very Important): After you receive your Interactive ID, you will need to Register it to the Emergency Response Profile (ERP) that you create. ERPs are NOT accessible to First Responders until an Interactive ID is registered to the ERP. If needed, you can register multiple Interactive IDs to one ERP. For example, if you purchased a Shoe ID and a Wrist ID, you still only need to maintain one ERP. As a bonus, you get six FREE months of membership to the Emergency Response System for each ID that you register.

NOTE: If you already have an account on the MyRoadID.com website, you do not need to create another account. You can simply log in to your existing account and add as many ERPs as you need.
